Week van de ontmoeting: muziekbingo in Mariaberg
[Maastricht | 21 augustus 2026] Voor het vierde jaar op rij vindt in september de week van de ontmoeting plaats. Van donderdag 24 tot en met woensdag 30 september zijn er dagelijks activiteiten verspreid over de hele stad. Inwoners van alle leeftijden kunnen hier gratis aan deelnemen en zo nieuwe mensen leren kennen.
Dit jaar worden er weer meer activiteiten georganiseerd dan tijdens voorgaande edities. De teller staat nu op bijna 150. Het aanbod is divers; van jeugdwerk tot samen wandelen, dansen, muziek maken, schilderen of schaken. Ook zijn er (theater-)voorstellingen en worden onder meer (textiel-)workshops aangeboden. Ervaring is niet nodig. Voor sommige activiteiten wordt vooraf aanmelden gevraagd.
In Mariaberg wordt in het kader van de week van de ontmoeting op dinsdag 29 september 2026 een muziekmiddag georganiseerd met dans, zang en muziekbingo van 13:30 tot 16:00 uur in Buurtcentrum Mariaberg. Dit evenement is een samenwerking tussen gemeente Maastricht, Buurtcentrum Mariaberg en Trajekt.
Het volledige aanbod, de tijden en locaties zijn terug te vinden in het gratis programmaboekje dat sinds deze week is af te halen bij publieke plekken in de stad zoals gemeenschapshuizen, bibliotheek en het stadskantoor. Ook staat het programma op www.thuisinmaastricht.nl/kom-erbij.
De Week van de Ontmoeting valt samen met de landelijke week tegen eenzaamheid. De week van de ontmoeting is bij uitstek een kans om op een laagdrempelige manier nieuwe mensen te leren kennen.
The week of connection: musical bingo in Mariaberg
[Maastricht | August 21, 2026] For the fourth year in a row, the week of connection takes place in September. From Thursday, September 24 through Wednesday, September 30, there are daily activities spread across the entire city. Residents of all ages can participate in these for free and get to know new people this way.
This year, more activities are being organized again than during previous editions. The counter now stands at nearly 150. The offering is diverse; from youth work to walking together, dancing, making music, painting, or playing chess. There are also theater and other performances, and textile and other workshops are being offered, among other things. No experience is necessary. Advance registration is requested for some activities.
In Mariaberg, as part of the week of connection, a musical bingo is being organized on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, featuring dance, singing, and musical bingo from 1:30 PM to 4:00 PM at the Mariaberg Community Center. This event is a collaboration between the Municipality of Maastricht, the Mariaberg Community Center, and Trajekt.

The week of connection coincides with the national week against loneliness. The week of connection is an excellent opportunity to get to know new people in an accessible way.
